This tool is designed to hold center so it won’t slip when you’re using it and it’s magnetic so it won’t fall out of your bit driver.

Material – Heat treated 17-4 stainless steel

Compatibility – For use with Genuine Heckler & Koch and HAUS brand bushings for HK416, 417 and MR Series rifles.

  • When installing a bushing apply a drop of Rocksett or high temperature Loctite and snug it up, do not over tighten your bushing, there is no need to exceed 15 inch pounds of torque.

IF YOU INTEND TO USE THIS TOOL TO REMOVE A BUSHING FROM A FACTORY HK UPPER RECEIVER BE AWARE THAT THE BUSHINGS ARE INSTALLED BY HK USING A “ROCKSETT LIKE” PRODUCT AND YOU RISK DAMAGING YOUR BUSHING AND YOUR TOOL IF YOU DO NOT TAKE STEPS TO DISSOLVE THE FACTORY INSTALLED THREAD LOCKER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE A BUSHING WITH THIS TOOL.

This bit was designed specifically to fit the inner “plus sign” feature in the original HK416 handguard locking bolt.

Drive compatibility – 1/4″ bit driver

Length – 1.25″

Material – These bits are made from heat treated 17-4 stainless steel and they’re magnetic so they won’t fall out of your bit driver.

Compatibility – Genuine Heckler & Koch handguards for early model HK416 and all Geissele SMR HK handguards.
